

Beef Stewed Wagyu

Ingredients:
• 1 kg Wagyu beef, cubed
• Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 large onion, diced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 carrots, chopped
• 2 stalks celery, chopped
• 2 tablespoons tomato paste
• 1 cup red wine
• 4 cups beef broth
• 2 bay leaves
•1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
Instructions:
1. Season the Wagyu beef cubes with salt and pepper.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large pot. Add the Wagyu cubes and brown on all sides. Remove from the pot and set aside.
3. In the same pot, add the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery. Sauté until the vegetables are softened.
4. Stir in the tomato paste, then deglaze the pot with the red wine. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
5. Return the browned Wagyu cubes to the pot. Add the beef broth, bay leaves, and thyme. Bring to a simmer.
6. Cover the pot and reduce the heat to low. Let the stew simmer for 3-4 hours, until the Wagyu is tender.
7.Before serving, adjust the seasoning as needed. Enjoy your hearty Beef Stewed Wagyu with a side of crusty bread or over mashed potatoes.
